Life Update 2012
Hi All,
After months of neglecting this blog, I have the sudden urge to write. For some unknown reason. This just happens to be the first blog of 2012 for me (and possibly the last, considering how much I do NOT go on here).
These past few months have been great and terrible for many reasons.
I have been trying to jumpstart my career and really engage myself in the world of marketing and events. For 3 months, I’ve been with MKG as a Production Intern. I’m definitely proud to be apart of something amazing! Interning with this agency has helped clear my mind of the direction I want to take in regards to my professional career. Hopefully, all goes well at the end of the program - whether it be opened doors or other opportunities in the experiential industry.
Of course, my pre-career efforts have been the “great” parts of the past few months. The terrible parts, of course, is school. Maybe I loathe school because I focus on work so much. Or maybe I dread going to school because of group projects. Or maybe I hate going to school because I hate working with incompetent students. All of the above reasons are probably true… Okay: I’m probably exaggerating. Nonetheless, the Spring semester is over in two weeks!!!
It’s kind of crazy - I’m graduating in 2 semesters. That means at about one year from now, I’ll be finishing my undergraduate career. I’m honestly not sure where I will be in life at that time, but I’m definitely hoping things will shape up nicely. One thing is for sure: I can’t wait to make enough money to afford my own place + all the cute things in it.
I’m very excited for the summer. After these busy months, I’ll finally have a BIT more time to do all that I’ve been wanting to do. San Diego, San Fran, Vegas, FOOD, here I come!!!
